# Password

### How to Set a Password When You've Logged into Stammer with Google Login?

When a user signs up for Stammer by logging in through Google, no password is set for their account. To set a password, follow these steps:

1. **Navigate to Account Settings:**
   * Go to the `Account` section in your Stammer profile.
2. **Initiate the Change Password Process:**
   * Click on `Change Password`.
3. **System Detection:**
   * The system will detect that you do not have a password set because you logged in via Google.
4. **Set a Password:**
   * You will be prompted to set a new password.
   * Enter and confirm your new password in the provided fields.

This process ensures that users who sign up using Google can easily set a password for their account, allowing them to log in using either their Google account or their new password in the future.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.stammer.ai/stammer.ai-docs/support/faq/password.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
